Dog School Registration Now Open!!
Give your dog the one-on-one time, attention, training, exercise, and socialization they need…
…all while you’re busy doing life!
“Doing life” is different for everyone.
But one thing we can all agree on is that you’re busy.
Does this scenario ring a bell to you?
It’s the end of a long day when you roll into the driveway, but it’s not over yet, not by a longshot. You’ve got dinner to prepare, practice to attend, and homework to supervise. What you’d really like to do is put your feet up and chill in front of the TV for a while.
Not so fast!
There’s a four-legged, tail-whipping, furry bundle of pent up energy that needs attention.
And can you blame her? She’s been cooped up all day just W A I T I N G for you to come home and play!
Your favorite spot on the couch is going to have to wait while you grab the leash and head out the door. Again.
This can be frustrating and even make you feel guilty for being frustrated!
This is NORMAL and doesn’t reflect poorly on you as a dog owner.
In fact, your dog isn’t just an animal to you, he’s your four-legged, tail-wagging child – a full-fledged member of the family.
But your dog isn’t your only responsibility.
There’s work to be done, family responsibilities to take care of, and perhaps some two-legged children to take to dance, sports, or music lessons. The list can seem endless!
And what’s your dog doing while you’re busy?
Stuck in her crate?
Alone wandering the house (and getting into who-knows-what)?
Relegated to the back yard or confined to a room in the house?
Even if your dog seems fine at home alone while you’re away, you know your dog is bored and lonely, just waiting for the sound of the garage door or the keys in the lock, and that bothers you.
We get it. We’re active, working families, too!
Does this sound familiar?
- When you finally make it home, it’s hard to help your dog burn off all that pent up energy when all you really want to do is make dinner and curl up in front of the TV for a while.
- You need to work on training – you know you need to be consistent – but it’s easy to put training practice on the back burner. And meanwhile, your dog’s manners aren't getting any better.
- You feel guilty about leaving your dog alone all day, bored and lonely. She deserves attention and fun too, right?
- You simply don’t have the bandwidth to do it all, at least not the way you feel it should be done.
Are you ready to feel less guilt and stress…and have a happy, healthy, (and tired!) pup at the end of the day?
"Sit n' Stay staff helps me work with Jack. They know him and guide me with his training and his maturity. They offer support and suggestions on working with Jack. Most important is he is safe and happy being at Sit n' Stay."
- Janet, Jack's Mom
We see you. We know that you’re committed to providing the best life possible for your furry family member!
Maybe you’ve…
- Tried traditional “doggie day care” only to be disappointed that your dog isn’t getting individual, focused attention.
- Begun training your dog in basic skills but just don’t want to do all the training yourself.
- Hired a dog walker, but don’t love having a stranger in your home while you’re not there.
There is a solution you – and your dog – can feel good about.

- Online basic obedience course so that you can reinforce exactly what we’re doing in Dog School at home.
- In person 6 week obedience class so that everyone in the household can attend and learn in person.
- Access to our private FB page. There are always behaviors that happen at home that don’t happen in Dog School or in classes! Here’s your chance to upload pictures or videos of these behaviors so your trainer can see exactly what’s happening. You’ll get support from our trainers and from other Dog School pet parents. Ask questions, share your experiences, and learn from others!
- Free puppy play until 7 months of age. Supervised, interactive, and intentional dog play. Your dog gets to practice skills with other people and dogs present, learning how to focus on you with other distractions around. That real-world practice is invaluable!

How does this sound?
- Your pup stays fit and trim, keeping her healthy and strong.
- Your older dog stays active and engaged.
- Your doggo’s mind is stimulated and he has safe and appropriate ways to express his natural instincts to chew, dig, hunt, herd, and track scents.
- Your dog’s manners improve and your stress levels fall.
- Instead of being alone at home, your dog is having fun, learning, practicing, and living her best dog life!

How it Works
Enroll
We’ll have a chat about your dog, her needs, and your goals to make sure Dog School is the perfect option. You can choose 2, 3 or 4 days per week!
Drop Off
We’ll greet you and your pup at the door and check them in to begin their fun day. Give your pooch a smooch and head out to start your day.
Let the FUN Begin!
We’ll take the leash from here! No need to worry about a thing. Your pup is about to have a wonderful day.
What a difference Dog School makes!
By the end of your dog’s first day, you’ll understand why people say, “A tired dog is a good dog!” But your dog won't just be physically "tired", they will have had a fun and challenging day of training, manners, games and so much more.
When you get home, you’ll be able to spend time with your family or relax in peace instead of dealing with a dog full of pent up energy.
But don’t worry, that tired and relaxed pup isn’t the result of unfocused, wild play-all-day.
By spending the day in Dog School, she’s
- Learned something new
- Practiced skills
- Used her mind and her instincts to solve problems and be engaged
- Played with other dogs in appropriate groups or with one other friend
- Played with people who have made improving the lives of dogs a career
- Been exposed to real-life situations so that she knows how to behave
- Had time to rest, too!
